Search Help

To find information about a topic, simply type in a few keywords. The more detailed your query, the more relevant your results.

In addition to standard search options our search engine also comes with some advanced capabilities to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Below are a few examples which may help to explain these capabilities.

Match Any Terms
Will find: "alpha beta", "beta alpha", "beta gamma", "gamma alpha".
Will NOT find: "gamma zeta", "My dog spot".
Match All Terms
Will find: "alpha beta", "beta alpha".
Will NOT find: "beta gamma", "gamma alpha".
Match Any Terms
Will find "alpha beta", "beta alpha", "alpha", and "beta".
Will NOT find "alpha gamma beta", "gamma alpha", nor "beta gamma".
The "-" makes the next word a "poison-pill" killing any entry from being included if the word is found in the text.
Match Any Terms
Will find "alpha beta", "beta alpha", "alpha", and "beta".
Will NOT find "alpha gamma beta", "gamma alpha", nor "beta gamma".
The "not" works the same as "-" making the next word a "poison-pill" killing any entry from being included if the word is found in the text.

Will find "gamma alpha beta", "fred gamma alpha beta".
Will NOT find "alpha gamma beta", "beta alpha gamma", etc.
The use of quotes forces the use of the enclosed words to be used as a phrase. They must occur together in the order described.

Note on case sensitivity: we suppress all case sensitivity. A word is the same as a Word is the same as a wOrd is the same as a WORD is the same as a WoRD.
