Tutankhamen was a child pharaoh chosen by Akhenaton to be his successor. He died at the age of nineteen. His tomb remained almost completely intact until discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings. It contained the most remarkable collection of artifacts ever found in Egypt. This lovely resin-cast statuette was made and handpainted in Egypt using metallic gold and colorful paints. The handsome "Made in Egypt" label is removable.
It measures 2 5/8" high, 2" wide and 1 3/4" deep.
